An Enhanced Adaptive Differential Evolution Approach for Constrained Optimization Problems

Effective constrained optimization algorithms have been proposed for engineering problems recently. It is common to consider constraint violation and algorithm as two separate parts. In this study, a pbest selection mechanism integrate the current mutation strategy in problems. Based on improved method, an adaptive differential evolution approach proposed, which helps population jump out of infeasible region. If all individuals are infeasible, top 5% selected. addition, modified truncated ε-level method avoid trapping regions. The with ε process (IεJADE) examined CEC 2006 2010 benchmark function series. Besides, standard IEEE-30 bus test system studied efficiency IεJADE. numerical analysis verifies IεJADE effective comparison other algorithms.
